Curt L. Noecker, 77, of Wayland, MI passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Ascension Borgess-Pipp Hospital in Plainwell. Born November 6, 1942 in South Bend, IN, he was the son of the late Norbert and Victoria Ann (Paxson) Noecker. Curt was a 1965 graduate of Western Michigan University earning a BS in art with a minor concentration in psychology. He was the owner of Noecker Pines Christmas Tree Farm which had employed many in the Dorr area over its' years of operation. He was also a talented photographer. Curt enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved steak and crab leg dinners. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Above all else, Curt was a loving father and grandfather and a devoted friend to many. He was always willing to extend a hand to anyone in need and would give his own shirt to keep another warm. Curt is survived by his daughters, Kristen Stein, Erin Noecker and Meghan Noecker; son, Paul Noecker; brother, Jon "Hugo" Noecker; sister, Judy Ulery; and five grandsons, Ian Stein, Cameron Stein, Oarie Knapp, Kaleb Knapp and Chase Knapp. Private memorial services will take place at a later date. Inurnment will take place in Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist with Meghan Noecker's ongoing medical expenses are suggested.
