Craig Scott Phillips, 65, of Allegan, MI passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 at University of Michigan Health West Hospital. Born June 19, 1961 in Allegan, he was the son of the late William and Anne S. (McCloud) Phillips. Craig graduated from Allegan High School in 1979. After graduation he went on to become the owner of B&C Emporium where he made and sold oak furniture as well as bought and sold antique hardware.
Craig was an active member of the Allegan County Historical Society in which he displayed part of his antique tool collection in the woodshed in the John Pahl Historical Village at the Allegan County Fairgrounds. Craig was also part owner of the Regent Theater in Allegan.
Craig loved traveling the Midwest with his family doing the antique shows – Allegan, Sandwich, and Kane County, to name a few. Craig was also an active member of the Antique Doorknob Collectors of America, going to conventions where he would buy, sell and trade very unique pieces of antique hardware with other collectors.
Craig is survived by his long-time girlfriend and significant other of twenty-five years, Lori Ann Weems; her two sons, Justin and Matthew Salmon; grandchildren, Falynn TenBrink, Chase Salmon and Logan TenBrink; and Lori’s parents, Glen and Sandra Salmon. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Anne S. Phillips.
