Allegan, MI, died Monday, September 20, 2004 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Hageman was born September 28, 1917 in Lee Twp., the daughter of Omar and Cora (Austin) Belden. She had been employed at Peter Eckrich & Sons in Kalamazoo, retiring in 1976. Her greatest joys were being with her family, traveling, reading, and bird watching. Surviving are 3 children, Robert Hageman of Kalamazoo, Danny Hageman, and Ann (David) Schrauger, both of Allegan; daughter-in-law, Marge Roberts of Kalamazoo; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1981, whom she married Sept. 28, 1935; son, Gary, in 2000; 7 brothers and 8 sisters; 1 granddaughter; 1 great granddaughter; and 1 great grandson. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating. Interment Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allegan Co. Medical Care Facility.
