53, of Allegan, died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born December 6, 1959 in Charlevoix, Michigan, the daughter of Ralph and Shirley (Galliger) Cross. Colleen graduated from Fennville High School in 1979. She worked eight years for Pine Trails and for the City of Allegan as a crossing guard. Colleen is survived by her husband Butch; her children: Brad (Crystal Marsman) Smith, Sarah (Mike King) Smith; her additional children: Teresa (Thomas) Hamlett, Donna (Chuck) Ford, Becky (Dan Tilley) Crysdale; her grandchildren: Connor, Layla, Isabella; and her twenty three additional grandchildren; her brothers: Tom Cross, Larry (Cathy) Cross; her sister Judy Speigh. She is preceded in death by her father Ralph "Bruz" Cross and her brother Gary Cross. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Herb Curry will be officiating. Interment will be at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Township. Arrangements are made by Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
