Allegan, MI, died Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Holland Community Hospital. Mr. Carter was born November 19, 1945 in Anderson, SC, the son of Coley B.Sr. and Minnie (Roach) Carter. He had been employed at H.J. Heinz in Holland, for 38 years and also Allegan Community Education as the night janitor. Surviving are his wife, June; 2 daughters, Tammy Boersen of Allegan and Jamie (Matt) Glatz, of Trufant; 5 grandchildren, Cody, Gabrielle, Zachary, Aiden and Ella; 1 sister, Linda Johnson of Allegan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janette. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at 4257 126th Ave., Allegan at 4pm on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008.
