Colburn C. "Cobe" Garlock of Allegan, MI went into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Sunday morning, March 7, 2004. Mr. Garlock was born January 3, 1910 in Schoolcraft, MI the son of George and Mabel (Colburn) Garlock. He had worked for the Allegan Public Schools retiring in 1975 . He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are his wife Reva (Porter) whom he married on August 26, 1938 in Alamo; 4 children, RoJean Garlock of Allegan, Linda & Michael Edgar of Dallas, TX, Thomas & Cheryl Garlock of Wilmington, Ohio, Frank & Jacki Garlock of Allegan; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Garlock in 1978, a sister, Miriam Garlock in 1993, and a daughter-in-law, Katherine (Stone) Garlock in 1984. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Wednesday 11:00 am. Rev. Thomas Garlock officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allegan Public Schools Athletic Department.
