age 70, of Allegan, went home to be with the Lord on May 24 at 8:40am after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family, at Hospice House in Holland, Michigan. Nate was born on October 25, 1943 in Arkansas. He was married to Darlene Blanton on February 16, 1962. He was a successful businessman, most notably owning and operating 1st Placement Employment Group. He was also an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Clev. TN.), and served in the ministry for 44 years. For 35 years of that time he ministered with distinction as the Senior Pastor of the M-40 North Church of God. He was survived by his beloved wife Darlene (Blanton) Kelch; his son Scott and Kathy Kelch; his daughter Tammy and Anthony Adams; his grandchildren: Lance, Sierra, Paul, Rachel, Skyler, Sydney, Alianna, Auggie, Izzy, Jo-Lee; his great grandchildren: Ariel, Abigail; his God child Jo-Dee(Jaime) Alegria; his brothers: Jack (Barbara) Kelch, Buford (Sandra) Kelch; his sister Marge Kelch; his sister-in-laws: Carol, Marie; his foster son David Clason; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Minnie Fay (David) Kelch; his brothers: William (Freda), Eugene (Nora), Jim, Kenneth, Odie, Donnie; and his sister Louise. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, from 5-8:00 P.M. at M-40 North Church of God, Allegan. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. also at M-40 North Church of God. Pastor Bill Adams will be officiating. A Commital at the cemetery will follow after the Funeral.
