of Allegan, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the Wings Home in Allegan. Mr. Larson was born September 11, 1924, in Allegan, the son of Waldo and Ella (Heiss) Larson. Cliff graduated from Allegan High School in 1943, he was a member of the Allegan Bible Church, and worked for Rockwell for over 22 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Merchant Marines, having served in 4 Theaters of War, he was bestowed the title of Honorary Marine by Alpha Company in early November of this year. He was a member of the Noteblenders Harmonica Band, and performed all over Michigan. In 1968, Cliff founded the Right to Bear Arms Inc., he taught hunters safety for many years and was a Jr. Rifle Club instructor at the Allegan Rifle and Pistol Club. He was always seen sporting his favorite hat. Surviving are his 3 children; Curt and Judy of Washington, Stephen and Deborah of Marne, and Pamela Adams of Big Rapids, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Robert Larson of Martin, 2 sisters, Renee Bratlee of Montana and Margie Naylor of Otsego, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, 2 brothers, Waldo and Ralph. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel,where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm. Pastor Chad Nightingale will officiate.
