Cleon Merton Duryea, 92, of Hopkins, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Ely Manor Nursing Home in Allegan. Born December 2, 1925 in Monterey Township, he was the son of the late Charles and Vera (Ruehle) Duryea and was the husband of the late Marilyn Ruth (Rankins) Duryea who preceded him in death in 2015. Mr. Duryea is survived by his children, Charlene Landrum, Dennis and Cindy Duryea and Jodi Morris; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Along with his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by 8 siblings; and his sons-in-law, Richard Landrum and Dennis Morris. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 5-7 pm at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am. Comer Skinner will officiate. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Township.
