Allegan, MI, died Saturday, January 6, 2007. Mr. Stevens was born August 24, 1938 in Pearisburg, VA, the son of Lacy and Verlie (Orey) Stevens. Surviving are 5 children, Teresa and Marshall Eanes of Virginia, Jerry Stevens of Virginia, Stephanie Trimm of Plainwell, Michael and Laura Greer of New Mexico and Dustin Stevens of Allegan; 3 stepchildren, Eva and Tom DeGlopper of Hamilton, Tina Shumate of Tennessee, and Marsha and Terry Bradshaw of Allegan; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister, Charles Stevens and Inez Woodyard, both of Virginia. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Shannon Heppe. Memorial services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Ray Brown officiating. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp.
