Clarence Jefferson Sinkler, Sr, 73, of Allegan, MI passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his home. Born April 24, 1945 in Douglas, MI, he was the son of the late Russell Ruben and Edna Mildred (Norwood) Sinkler and was the husband of Marilyn J. (Hillsburg) Sinkler. Mr. Sinkler was a loving and dedicated husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The love of his family meant everything to him and being with the ones he loved brought him his greatest joy. In addition to his wife, Marilyn, Mr. Sinkler is survived by his children, Jackie Horton, Rick Horton, Tim (Jeanie) Sinkler, Clarence (Wendy) Sinkler, Jr. and Shelly (Jason) Walter; siblings, Thomas Russell Sinkler, Sr., Robert Calvin Sinkler, Sr. and Barbara Ann Jones; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deb Johnson; and his sister, Dorthea Delcour. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place followed by burial with military honors in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
