Clarence Artis "Art" Osman, 68, of Allegan, MI, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his home. Born June 20, 1948 in Paw Paw, MI, he was the son of the late Clarence C. Osman and Kathryn E. (Braisher) Osman and was the husband of the late Karen Marie Nash Osman. Art was a graduate of Mattawan High School in 1966 and was later drafted to the United States Army to serve in Vietnam. He retired from the United States Postal Service after over thirty years of dedicated service as a clerk and a carrier. Art had also spent five years volunteering his time at Pine Trails Elementary School. He is survived by his children, J.D. Osman and wife Stacy, and Julie Frerichs and husband Todd; grandchildren, Matthew Zacker, Michael Zacker, Katelyn Osman, and Trevor Frerichs; brother, Joe Osman and wife Sigi; sisters, Kathy Frame and husband David, Janet Richcreek and husband Don, and Rosemary Boyco; and his stepmother, Margaret Osman. The family will gather at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM to receive friends and celebrate Art's life.
