Clara Blain, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Sunday June 17, 2018. Clara truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; time with family and friends, quilting, her lifetime membership to the VFW Auxiliary and as a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Clara had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way; she was a comforting listener and good friend to all. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Armond "Army" Blain. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Roger) Arndt, Son Bert (Sally)Blain; Grandchildren Tony (Ronna) Arndt, Jay (Teresa) Arndt, Jason (Sharon) Blain, Jennifer (Matt) Frank; 13 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Granddaughters; a sister, Donna Smith; and neighboring friends who were family to her. Clara had a huge heart for people and will be dearly missed. Family, friends, and others whose lives Clara touched are invited to Gorden Funeral Residence in Hopkins on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
