age 45, of Hopkins, died Friday, March 28, 2014 at her home. She was born May 22, 1968 in Bartow, Florida, the daughter of Lucy Daniels. Chris was a member of Salem Indian Mission of the United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Chris was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister who was very outgoing and known for her contagious laugh. She will be deeply missed. Chris is survived by her beloved husband Douglas; her children: Joshua Matthew Cook, Johnathan Douglas Cook, Kimberly May Cook; her mother Lucy (Michael) Daniels; her brother Rory Goldsmith; her sisters: Bekki (Michael) Reed, Rachel Plucinski; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Lucy Roberts and her grandmother Lucille Coon. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel from 5-8:00 P.M. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014, also at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Nancy Bolen will officiate. Interment is at Poplar Hill, Monterey Township.
