Allegan, MI, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at her home. Cherrie was born February 23, 1958 in Allegan, the daughter of Lyle and Maxine (Ater) Allen. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, dining out and watching television. Surviving are her partner, Brad Conley; 2 children, Lisa (Dennis) Willover of Plainwell and Dale Stratton of Allegan; 7 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Phil (Candy) Allen, Stan Allen, Wayne (Dawn) Allen, Connie (Tom) Wilson and Tracy (Rick) Boynton, all of Allegan; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lyle Allen, Jr. Friends may meet with the family from 12 noon Thursday until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
