age 81, of Allegan, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Plainwell, Michigan. She was born April 4, 1933 in Prairieville, Michigan the daughter of Clyde and Bertha (Canfield) Meade. Charlotte raised fourteen children, worked hard and took care of her husband Aubrey when he became sick before his passing in 1985. She still had a handful of her children still living at home at the time of her husband's death. Charlotte was truly an amazing mother and wife. She was also more than a grandmother to her grandchildren. Charlotte would give you what she could even when she had nothing herself. Her children humorously remember Charlotte never being in a hurry to go anywhere. Charlotte is survived by her fourteen children: Perry (Annette) Raab, Charles Raab, Kathy (Ken) Boerma, Steven (Lisa) Raab, Michael (Andrea) Raab, Penny (Ed) Brown, Timothy (Lorie) Raab, Raymond (Renda) Raab, Jay (Jaycee) Raab, James (Piper) Raab, Gerald (Sue) Raab, Thomas (Jerri) Raab, Helen (Steve) Walters, Wesley (Missy) Raab; her forty-eight grandchildren; her fifty-seven great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandchild; her brothers: Joe, Barry, Allen; her sisters: Betty and Lucy. She is preceded in death by her husband Aubrey; her grandchildren: Ashlly Garlock, Renae Raab, and Andrew Novotony; several brothers and sisters: Joy, Catherine, Josephine, Jacqueline, Dean, Eugene, and Clyde Jr. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Township.
