of Hopkins, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born July1, 1937, in Monterey Twp., the son of Charlie and Zita (Cram) Taylor. Tim graduated from Hopkins High School in 1956. He worked for the Allegan County Road Commission for over 10 years and for Rockwell in Allegan for 23 years. He was a jack of all trades... building houses, barns, digging ponds, he loved to move dirt with his heavy equipment, he was always ready to help a friend or family with a project. Surviving are his wife: Ruth; 6 children: Tim and Cindy Taylor, Lorie and Chris Mercer, Pam and Doug Brower, Mike Taylor, Kathy and Chris Marklevitz, Perry Listodad; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Linda and Hershall Bennett, and Irene Wilson, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters: Darlene and Doris. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. There will be no Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
