Charles E. Reed, 75, of Cheshire Township, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Reed was born July 23, 1941 in Crowder, Mississippi, the son of the late James C. and Flora (Morehead) Reed. Charles was a hard worker and spent years working on farms, assisting farmers with anything that needed to be done. In his off time, he enjoyed fishing and being outside with nature. One thing Charles truly loved doing was giving unique gifts to his family; putting great thought and care into providing them with these special gifts. His family was important to him and he always wanted them to know how much they meant to him. Charles is survived by his two sons, Randall and Darrell; five grandchildren: Dustin, Shana, Randall, Michael and David; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers: James Reed, Billy and Barbara Reed; and one sister, Patsy Roberts. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements being made through Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
