Chuck J. McGinnis, 48, of Allegan, MI passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Allegan General Hospital. Born August 1, 1971 in Ionia, MI, he was the son of the late Leona (Jennison) McGinnis. Chuck worked more than twenty years at the Allegan County Fair and more recently for Scott's Landscaping. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and mudding. Chuck was a generous man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. In spite of his sometimes-grumpy exterior, he truly loved being around his family, many, many friends and his faithful companion, Dodge. Chuck is survived by his children, Amanda Marjorie Ann McGinnis and Dakota Frederick McGinnis; his siblings, James (Saphia) McGinnis and Dawn O'Neil; and his niece, Taylor McGinnis. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Allegan County Snowmobile Club, 1697 36th Street, Allegan, MI 49010. Service Details.
