Holland, Charles E., Allegan, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Holland was born December 21, 1923 in Grand Rapids, the son of Floyd & Rosa (Brand) Holland. Chuck was a active member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd for over 70 years, he graduated from the University of Michigan and recieved his Masters from Western Michigan University. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Chuck worked for many years at Kalamazoo Valley in Career Placement, he loved working with young men & women as they made decisions in their lives. Surviving are his wife; Lucile, 2 sisters in law, Joyce Holland of KY and Fritzi Sennett of Holland, several neices and nephews and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Memorial services will be held on Monday at 11am at the Episcopal Church. Rev. LaRae J. Rutenbar will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Church, Allegan General Hospital, or the Allegan County Medical Care Facility.
