age 74, Allegan, MI, formerly of Chicago, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, May 16, 2007. Mrs. Ladwig was born December 22, 1932 in Chicago, the daughter of August and Katherine (TenBrock) Kleinfelder. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army WAC, serving during the Korean Conflict. Mrs. Ladwig and her husband had a summer residence at Miner Lake in Allegan from 1960-1975 and moved to Allegan from Chicago in 1991. Surviving are her husband, Walter, whom she married Sept. 26, 1959, in Dolton, IL; 1 daughter, Patricia Chavez, Allegan; 2 grandchildren, Steven (Melissa) Chavez, St. Louis, MO, and Angela Rodriguez of Allegan; 1 sister, Ruth (Carl) Koch of Illinois; and 1 niece Kay (Al) Gibbons of Florida. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
