of Allegan, died December 27, 2010. Age 72 years. Carolyn May Lanphear was born February 13, 1938, the daughter of the late Cecil and Mildred (Lameraux) Lanphear. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Allegan. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Bingo and watching Detroit Tigers baseball. She was married to Robert Callaway on April 30, 1966; he preceded her in death on May 18, 1974. Surviving are three children, Karen (James) Steffens of Hopkins, Sharon Weems of Allegan and Mark "Tony" (Stephanie) Weems of Sherwood; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Frederick Lanphear; and one sister, Phyllis Livingston. Memorial service will take place at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Allegan. Kent Wallace will officiate.
