83, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Briarwood Assisted Living in Allegan after a short illness. She was born in Allegan, Michigan on May 19, 1929 the daughter of Russell and Signe (Johnson) Anderson. Caroline graduated from Allegan High School in 1948. She married Donald J Hammon on October 26, 1950. Caroline was a beautician in the area for many years and a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son Bradford (Sari) Hammon, of Allegan; Grandson Tyler, of Allegan; Granddaughter Elizabeth (Chad) Geurink, of Hamilton; and Great-Granddaughter Brea Ellen Geurink. Caroline is preceded in death by her husband Donald, and son Ross Hammon. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral at 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Allegan, Michigan. Pastor Alex Steward will be officiating. Interment will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
