Carole A. Manning, Allegan, died Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at the Metron of Allegan Nursing Home. Mrs. Manning was born April 30, 1933 in Whitley County, IN, the daughter of Dallas & Mary (Byall) Peters. She was a graduate of Allegan High School, Class of 1951. Surviving are 3 daughters; Paula Manning, Patti Manning and Jenny & Paul Earl, all of Allegan, 5 grandchildren, Josh, Matt, Katie, Carly and Megan, 1 brother, Rodger & Candy Peters of Kaleva, 4 sisters, Charlotte Anderson of Allegan, Dorothy & William Alfred of Bloomingdale, Naomi & Robert O'Connell of Delton, Jean & James Kirvan of TN, 17 nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2004 at 1:30 pm at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan. Pastor Joseph Phipps of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
