OBITUARY Carol E. Hitchcock, 70 of Muskegon, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002 in Muskegon. Mrs. Hitchcock was born February 9, 1931 in Keystone Corners, Illinois the daughter of Edward and Marietta (Thurston) Regnier. She had worked at Crescent Pipe & Nipple Company in Allegan for 22 years retiring in 1977. Following that she was an apartment manager. She had been a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church and sang in the choir. Surviving are her husband, Donald; 3 children, Darrel & Florence Hitchcock of Allegan, Diane Sue & William Flora of Muskegon, Vic Hitchcock of Muskegon; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; 2 brothers and 1 sister, Alan & Grace Regnier of Kalamazoo, Delmar Regnier of Martin, Mae Marie Boss of Plainwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Betty Regnier. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where a memorial service will be held Thursday 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
