Carl W. Lynn, 88, of Burnips, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Allegan General Hospital in Allegan, Michigan. Mr. Lynn was born in Allegan, Michigan on April 10, 1927, the son of the late William and Lily (Newman) Lynn. Carl was a United States Army Veteran serving in War World II. He worked for over 30 years at Marathon Oil in Muskegon and about 25 years at Rockwell International in Allegan. Carl was a farmer and had a special love for tractors, adding about 20 or more to his collection. He was a wonderful handyman and could be depended on to help with just about anything that needed fixing. Carl is survived by his three children: Ron and Sally Lynn, Cathy Gates, and Danny and Jayne Lynn; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Doris Buhler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; son, Michael; daughter, Sandra; brother, Ralph; and five sisters: Helen, Grace, Blanche, Nellie and Clara. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, March 30th from 12 - 2 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM, Pastor Nancy Patera officiating.
