C. Leslie Pullen, 99 of Hudsonville, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 at the Laurels of Hudsonville. Mr. Pullen was born August 9, 1904 in Dorr Township, MI the son of Douglas and Christina (Bissard) Pullen. He was an early graduate of the Grand Rapids Baptist Bible Institute, (now Cornerstone University) and was a longtime member of Wealthy Park Baptist Church. He was a surveyor and following that went into real estate. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Patricia & Donald Volz of Pentwater, Anita & Robert Swingle of Hudsonville, Frank & Jackie Pullen of California, Kenneth Pullen of Colorado; 2 daughters-in-law, Naomi Evans of Jenison, Beverly Patterson of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara in 1968 and a son Gordon in 1963. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:30 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Lloyd Steinfort officiating.
