age 79, of Allegan, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at his home. He was born August 16, 1934 in Allegan, Michigan, the son of William and Ruth (MacDougal) Chappell. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a tablet manufacturing mechanic at Perrigo for 37 years. Bruce and his wife Marva were married for over 53 years. He graduated Allegan High School in 1953. Bruce is survived by his beloved wife Marva; his children: Dalene (Brian) Anson, Jeffrey Chappell, Michelle (Sheryl Veeneman) Chappell; his grandchildren: Jessica, Tyler, Riley, Jennifer, Michael, Steven, Joshua, Patrick, Hunter; his great-grandchildren: Madison, Gracie, Joey; his sisters: Judy (Mickey) Spidel, Sally (Don) Herp; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, his baby son Greg, and his daughter Melissa Jane Davison. Friends may meet with the family for a Remembrance Gathering on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel from 3-5:00 P.M. Inurnment will be at Hudson Corners, Allegan.
