of Wayland. Died Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Age 52 years. He was born April 9, 1959, the son of Neal Stevenson Sr. and Joan Stevenson. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to go mushroom hunting. Surviving are his two sons, Brian Stevenson Jr. And Brandon (Alisha) Stevenson, both of Wayland; his parents, Neal and Joan Stevenson of Hopkins; two brothers, Neal (June) Stevenson Jr. of Marne, MI and Walter Stevenson of Hopkins; one sister, Suzanne (Dean) Parker of Englewood, TN; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Shattuck of Allegan; three sisters-in-law, Trudy Martin of Bradley, Janice (Carl) Wuis of Shelbyville and Arlene (Gary) VonMyhr of Grandville; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his friend, Richard Brand. He was preceded in death by Dawn VanderMeer. Friends may meet with the family from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Rev. David Selleck will officiate with burial in Miner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to support his sons' college fund.
