Billy Lee VanHorn, 38 of Allegan, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Billy was born January 5, 1966 in Allegan, MI the son of Royal and Ruth (Christman) VanHorn. He had worked as an auto mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Andrews); 3 children, Shawn, Jessica, and Amanda Veldhuis; 1 granddaughter, Elaina; his mother and stepfather, Ruth & Howard Town; 1 brother, Clayton & Carla VanHorn; 1 sister, Betty & Scott Foster. He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Paul in 1988, his father, Royal VanHorn in 2001 and mother-in-law, Gloria Andrews in 2001. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Herb Curry officiating.
