of Allegan, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at his home. Billy was born July 29, 1961 in Flint, the son of Donald and Sandra (Dye) Gardner. He graduated from Clio High School and received his Associates Degree at Bay College in Escanaba. Billy was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served for 5 years. He was employed by the City of Allegan, and worked in the water treatment plant since 1991. He lived for adventure and excitement, skydiving, scuba diving, motorcycling were just a few of his hobbies. He loved his family and friends, and they all loved his great sense of humor. Surviving are his wife, Wanda, 2 step children, Brian and Brittany, his father and mother, Don and Sandra Gardner of Rapid River, 1 brother, Randy of Rapid River, 1 sister, Pam Schafer of Escanaba, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Richard and Tommy Dale. Cremation has taken place, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
