Betty Joe (Tremaine) Brown of Hastings, formally of Allegan , passed away on February 18 from complications of a UTI. She was born on July 5, 1925 to Viva M. Porter and Vernon M. Tremaine. She married the late Calvin "Tink" Brown on June 21, 1947. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Joe (Leon ) Casey, Her grandsons and granddaughters, Cal & Brandy Casey of Hastings, Tye and Ronda Casey of Plymouth, IN, her Great-Grandson, Trey and Great-Granddaughter, Kyanne Casey. Her beloved sister Mildred Hodge, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Also her little dog Lucy. Special Thanks to her home-care girls, Penny, Sue, Brenda and Sam for all their kindness, compassion and love. Donations may be made in her name to the Barry County Community Hospice, 450 Meadow Run, #200, Hastings, MI 49058. Their comfort-care and support was much appreciated. Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan on Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 AM.
