Allegan, MI, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2005 at her home. Mrs. Armstrong was born May 4, 1925 in Allegan, the daughter of Karl and Christine (Brower) Germain. She had been a life-long resident of Allegan and had been employed by the Allegan County News and Rockwell, before turning her attentions to raising a family. Her favorite pastimes were gardening and spending time with her family. She was married to Joe Armstrong, who preceded her in death in 1991. Surviving are three children, Kathy (Ron) Taylor of Virginia, Steve (Jodi) Armstrong of Grand Rapids and Tom Armstrong of Cape Coral, FL; 5 grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Armstrong and Brooke, Nathan and Dara Taylor; 1 brother, Bob (Carol) Germain of Allegan. There will be no visitation. Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
