aged 88 of Wayland, MI, went to be with the Lord, Monday, December 29, 2008. Mae was born Jan. 18, 1920 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Charles and Christine (Ferguson) Hedrick. Throughout her life, Mae was the care giver of the family, providing a home to all that needed one. Surviving are 4 grandsons; 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Percy Holmes, 2nd husband, Lloyd Holmes, brother, James Hedrick, and sister Betty Lyons.
