View Photo Tribute Allegan, MI, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Metron of Allegan. Mrs. Ellis was born July 7, 1916 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Albert and Rosalia (Adamczyk) Whitmore. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Leah and Arthur Storch of Otsego, Roy D. and Diane Ellis, Jr. of Allegan, Kathy Sue and Jon Olsen of Grand Rapids and Sally and Lee Lancaster of Otsego; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 brother and his wife, Edward and Juanita Whitmore of California; many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, and a sister, Juanita. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Paul Hays officiating.
