Bertha Irene "Betty" Reimink, of Allegan, MI passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, her 88th birthday. Born April 1, 1934 in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of the late Henry Patrick and Ivah (Reynolds) Smith. On July 25, 1952, Betty wed the late Chester L. Reimink and together they raised two sons and shared fifty-seven happy years of marriage prior to his passing in 2009. She was a longtime member of Allegan United Methodist Church. Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David (Yvonne) Reimink and Douglas (Kim) Reimink; grandchildren, Mickey (Danielle) Reimink, Thomas Reimink, April Reimink, Justin (Rachael) Reimink and Kelly Reimink; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kaelynn, Ryder, Asher, Mikayla, Braeden, George, Hudson, Graham and Drew; and great-great-grandchildren, Kenley, Dawson and Archer. Along with her parents and her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Smith and Ronald Smith.
A memorial service will be held at Allegan United Methodist Church on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Betty will be laid to rest beside her husband in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Allegan United Methodist Church, 409 Trowbridge Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
