Allegan, MI, died Friday, August 22, 2008 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Mrs. El was born November 7, 1929 in Charleston, MO, the daughter of Samuel and Geneva (Mays) Jones. She was a member of Grace Temple Church in Allegan. Surviving are 6 children, Ernest Locke, Lillie and Tobias Simmons, Tony and Annette El, Tommy and Linda El, Mary Thrash and Jeff Robinson, all of Allegan, Greg and Rosalind El of Kalamazoo; 1 step-daughter, Barbara Wyche, of Wisconsin; 34 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Joann; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldnor El, her son, Allen Bonds, and brother, Jr. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at 1 p.m. at the Grace Temple Church in Allegan. Pastor Harriette Portrum will officiate. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the Fresenius Medical Care, Allegan Dialysis.
