Benjimen Lee Beck Sr. passed peacefully at home in Allegan with family by his side on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Benjimen was born to his late parents Henry and Juanita (Tubbs) Beck on April 24, 1937, in Trenary, Michigan. Benjimen's family moved to Burnips where he grew up and made many fond memories. Benjimen shared 43 faithful years together with his partner Sally Rimkus before she passed in 2022. During his working years he was a supervisor with Parker Corporation out of Otsego in the die cast division retiring after 43 years. Outside of work he loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending time in his garage workshop. Benjimen was a great storyteller and also enjoyed quoting nursery rhymes with his children.

He is survived by his children Benjamin Jr. (Emily) Beck, Floyd Beck, Len (Brenda) Smith, Dennis (Kimberly) Smith, Mary Ann (Jim) Matz, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Wanda Benak (Smith) and son in law Emil Benak; siblings Henry Beck, George Beck, Bonnie Koch, and Arbutus Miller; and grandson Christopher Beck.

Benjimen's memorial service will start at 11:00am with an hour visitation before on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel 528 Trowbridge St. Allegan, MI 49010. Graveside service to follow to Salem Township Cemetery.
