Obituary

of Allegan, died on Friday, April 12, 2013, at the Wings Home in Allegan. Mr. Arlington was born March 20, 1916, in Dodge Ridge, West Virginia, the son of Jack B. and Chloe B. (Stevens) Arlington. Ben came to the Allegan area at a early age and worked in the oil fields for over 40 years. He was employed by Chris Craft in Holland for 15 years. Surviving are his 4 children; Chloe Arlington, Ben Jr. and Shirley Arlington, Jean and Raymond Taylor, Tom and Diane Arlington, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also had a special companion, his dog Sadie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva, his son, William, 2 grandchildren; Tracey and Steven, and several brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 15, at 2pm, at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp., Pastor Robert Cosby will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wings Home, Allegan. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
