OBITUARY Basil G. Marble, 83 of Allegan, died Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Marble was born October 27, 1918 in Trowbridge Township, MI the son of Luke and Minnie (Lane) Marble. He retired from Crescent Pipe after 21 years, and prior to that he tested milk for the state and was a milk hauler for the Otsego Creamery. Surviving are his wife Ethyl and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Buryl. There will be no services at this time. A graveside service at Lindsley Cemetery will be announced in the spring.
