Barbara Ann (Thorpe) Milbocker, 80 of Allegan, Michigan passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Briarwood Assisted Living in Allegan. Born December 3, 1939 in Allegan, Michigan, Barbara was the daughter of the late Laurence and Norma (Brininger) Thorpe and the husband of the late Edward C. Milbocker. Barbara was a lifetime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and served on the ladies church circles where she helped with the various activities that took place at the church, especially assisting with the baking of pies and other goodies for the church bazaar. She was a wonderful homemaker and took great pride in raising her family and being there for them. Barbara enjoyed being a wife and mother, but she truly loved being a doting grandma and great-grandma. They could always bring a smile to her face and time spent with them made for special memories. Barbara is survived by her four children, Jeff Milbocker, Patty (Ken) Fales, Mary Green and Linda (Rod) Brower; her nine grandchildren, Matt, Rachel (Matt), Kevin (Kristin), Kelsey, Jennifer (Charlie), Michael, Janelle, Stephanie and Kristen; and nine great-grandchildren, Owen, Eloise, Arthur, Logan, Landon, Kinley, Kaden, Bristol and Conrad; and her sister-in-law, Jackie Thorpe. Along with her parents and her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle Thorpe. Those who wish to pay their respects may visit Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Monday, June 29, 2020 between the hours of 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. A private service will take place for Barbara with interment to follow at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery, Allegan, Michigan.
