Obituary
of Otsego, passed away on December 19, 2015 at Ely Manor Nursing Home in Allegan. Mrs. Smith was born on May 21, 1928, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of George and Josephine (Pifer) Crisman. Barbara is survived by her four children: Rusty and Mel Smith, Kelly Wadsworth, Jay and Mary Smith, and Holly Lee; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers: Pete Crisman and Bunny Showers, Dick and Sharon Crisman; one sister: Mary Tourangeau; a special niece: Ruth and Howard Town and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; son, Lyle "Tom" Smith; and daughter, Gail Madison. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, December 29th at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Wings Home, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
