of Allegan, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at her home in Allegan, Michigan. She was born October 15, 1945 in Clinton County, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Cora (Collins) Payne. Barbara attended Benton Harbor High School and later moved to Allegan. Barbara loved her family and was a dedicated employee at Crystal Flash / Speedway for over 20 years. In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed to read and bowl. Barbara is survived by her husband, William; four children: Melissa Wells and Carol Henrickson, Rusty Wells and Kelli Steinman, Jeff and Tracy Wells, Amy Wells and John Hastings; seven grandchildren: Cora and Darin Edwards, Andrew, Elijah, Josh, Karlie, Austin and Chelsea; four great grandchildren: Alyssa, Darin, Emma and Holly; two brothers: Virgil Payne and Jerry Payne. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Glenn Payne, Billy Joe Payne and Shorty Payne. A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the Allegan Eagles, 110 Chestnut Street.
