of Hopkins, went to be with her Lord, on Monday, April 29, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her family. Avis was born September 5, 1927, in Martin Twp., the daughter of Lafayette and Anna (McMillan) Smith. She graduated from Allegan High School in 1944, and was a faithful member of the Friendship Bible Church in Hopkins. Avis was a hard worker, and held many jobs during her lifetime, she worked at the bank in Hopkins for many years, she retired from Rockwell Int., in Allegan, and spent over 31 years making sure Sebright Products ran like a top. Surviving are her 3 son's, Dave and Rose Sebright, Brent and Sue Sebright, Stu and Teresa Sebright, 3 step children; Rodney and Diane Stone, Bruce and Lori Stone, Darl Stone, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends, and a special church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darl "Stoney", grandson, Clay, step children; Jim and Cheryl, and several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 11 am, at the Hopkins Community Reform Church, with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friendship Bible Church or the Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
