Noteboom, August J., died Saturday, October 19, 2002 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital. Mr. Noteboom was born September 28, 1922 in Martin, the son of August & Margaret Harrington Noteboom. August was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. In 1975 he retired from Rockwell Int. after 33 years of service. Surviving are his wife Myrtle whom he married in Nov. 22, 1946 in Allegan, 4 children & spouses; Jean & Lee Schwennesen of Allegan, Edwin & Deborah Noteboom of Mattawan, Dale & Shirley Noteboom of Shelbyville and Dawn & Greg Buist of Hopkins, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. August was preceded in death by his brother, Edward and 1 grandson Nathan Gant and 1 great grandson Dustin Meade. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Private graveside services will be held at Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp., at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes or the Heart Assoc.
