of Allegan, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Krotz was born September 4, 1915, in Chicago, the son of Otto and Helen (Breski) Krotz. Art worked for Rockwell Int. for over 20 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Allegan, and was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII, he was a member of the DAV, American Legion Oscar Briggs Post # 89, and the VFW Post # 3667 of Allegan. Surviving are his son, Richard, 1 sister, Bea Krotz, of Allegan, 2 sister-in-laws, Jerry Krotz of Hopkins, and Betty Krotz, of Allegan, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, daughter-in-law, Darlene, 4 brothers; Jim, Leroy, Bob and Fred, and his sister, Eleanor. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, February 28, from 5-7 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Karen Fitz La Barge from the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Church. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Otsego VFW Post # 3030, at Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp.
