Allegan, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Woolf was born April 1, 1933 in Avon, South Dakota, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Schultz) Boese. Ardis graduated from Saginaw High School and Grand Rapids Bible and Music College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Allegan for over 60 years. On June 23, 1956, Aris Fay Boese, married Clair "Mickey" Woolf, who survives. Also surviving are 2 children, David and Melody Woolf of Kalamazoo and Darlene Wagner of Allegan, 5 grandchildren, Sonnet, Dakota, Jonathan, Mark and Cheyenne, 3 brothers, Ralph and Elva Boese, Milton and Martha Boese and Don and Rose Boese all of Saginaw, 3 sisters, Hulda Gerard of TN, Norma and Wilmer Warner of Grand Rapids and Evelyn and Reubin Ewert of FL, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Phyllis Bultman, and her son-in-law, Robert Wagner. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at the First Baptist Church. Pastors Greg Carlson and Raymond Mayhew officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to Camp Beechpoint.
