Anna Louise Plumley, 72 of Allegan, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Ely Manor Nursing Home in Allegan, Michigan. Born September 11, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Anna was the daughter of Lucille (Morrison) Moline Hurlbert and the late Robert Moline. She married Basil Plumley in 1964 and together began their family, bringing 5 children into the world. Anna spent her working years with the Head Start Program in Allegan County. She loved attending the First Baptist Church in Allegan and appreciated the support that she received from the congregation, even after unable to drive, she received rides to church so that she could worship with them. In her spare time, Anna also enjoyed crocheting. Declining health led her to Ely Manor Nursing Home where she received wonderful care and her family extends their appreciation to the staff.
Anna leaves behind four of her children, Wayne (Rhonda) Plumley, Roger Plumley, Judy (James) Hopkins and Michael (Jennifer) Plumley; eleven grandchildren; her mother, Lucille Hurlbert; and five siblings, Ron (Jean) Moline, Rosemary Harrison, Peter (Sue) Moline, Gloria (Terry) Phillips, and Victoria Sinkler.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Plumley; her son, Jeffrey Plumley and her grandson, Wayne Trevor Plumley.
Friends may meet with the family on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 10 - 11 am at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 am. Private interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
