Valley Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, May 6, 2007at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Cohen was born July 13, 1913 in Stevensville, MI, the daughter of Albert and Pauline (Mielke) Schulz. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Stevensville. She was a line manager of the "House of David" and had worked in Chicago at several jobs. Surviving are her husband, Nathan; 1 son and his wife, Ronald and Michelle Cohen of Allegan; 1 grandchild, Kyle; 3 sisters, Dora Essig of Bridgman, Ella Arndt and Magdalina Spaulding, both of Stevensville; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chris Mayer, son, David, and several brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family at Christ Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Ave., Stevensville, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Philip G. Quardokus officiating.
