Port Saint Lucie, FL, formerly of Allegan County, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Florida. Mrs. Butler had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for the past 4 years. She was born Jan. 6, 1914 in Flint, MI. She was a nurse at Tolfree Hospital in West Branch, MI for 25 years, retiring in 1975. Surviving are her daughter, Margaret A. Valley-Kenyon of Port Saint Lucie; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Leo Butler, son, Doyle Winter and a daughter, Hazel Latter. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen, Celebrant. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp.
